This is a locket from circa 1910. Marked with Austrian hallmarks and is quite rare. What makes this different from the usual is that it opens bt sliding one side from the other. It is big and heavy.Weighs 35.4g and measures 6.3cm/2.5in not including bail.It has all its pieces including the original bevelled glass and retainers. Deeply engraved in a swirl pattern to both sides. I am showing it on a longuard chain that is on the site to show size.It has a mirrored effect on both sides. The chain is not included in the price.
